Boldly Baignoire

My Instagram feed is always interesting, a mix of fine jewelry, some fashion, and a full landscape of interiors. One thing that has been popping up in my algorithm constantly is the Cartier Baignoire watch. Not an ad from Cartier itself, but multiple jewelers selling this watch and influencers posting it. The kicker is that every single time it made it to my feed, I couldn’t help but glare at how stunning it is.

I like to find correlations with trends, and how they may find themselves derived from previous trends. In this instance, I think this silhouette is coming from engagement rings having thick bulbous bezel halos in gold. This seems to be a sort of rendition of that same aesthetic.

The Baignoire comes in a multitude of styles, from more flat facing circles to full blown diamonds. I heard from the grapevine that there is a very limited amount of the full diamond Baignoire, but theres a ton of other options available.

I see this watch being one of the hottest watches on the market for women.
